Tomato Sandwiches

Inspired by the fresh tomatoes gathered, I wanted to create a cinemagraph showcasing them. Growing up it was common for us to eat tomato slices with cracked pepper or tomato sandwiches in the summer. It was like a sweet treat. I staged the tomatoes in a melamine bowl, that is one of my dad and I’s favorite and reminds us of my grandfather and the joys of summer cooking and late-night salty snacks.
